  • Spike on social media March 4- for state basketball tournament being held at GC. March 8- athletics games and Call Me MISTER feature in the Macon Telegraph. March 11- high school students commit to play sports at GC and psychology students teach empathy skills to local preschoolers story. March 15 and 16- athletics games and School of Nursing ranking by Collegeatlas.org.

March 17- Deal announce Center for Early Language and Literacy Board and athletics wins. Georgia College enjoyed extensive television news coverage throughout the month, with stories ranging from local to national as well as continuous coverage of the baseball season. Two outlets covered the “Black Minds Matter” lecture of Dr. Luke Wood. There were two separate stories about Georgia College’s response to national news involving President Trump’s revised travel ban and the proposed budget cuts. These stories are highlighted above the break.
