Social Media:
The images below show our total social media activity (Twitter and Facebook) for the month of July. Activity included heavy emphasis on the final two Orientation sessions. Social media also played a role in communications for the Milledgeville water main issues at the end of the month.
Facebook Overview:
The image below is from Facebook’s insights to the Georgia College Facebook page’s posts for the month. We had significant activity spikes during our final two summer Orientation sessions. One of our most popular videos of all time was the featured post “How Much Do You Know About Georgia College?” which featured more than 13,000 video views and heavy user-interaction.
Benchmarking to Facebook Pages we watch, we experienced the highest percentage growth in audience (without any paid advertising to increase audience) and ranked third in post engagement.
On Instagram, we had two Student Ambassadors conduct an Instagram Takeover of our account for each orientation session.
